Montana's Lake McDonald with Talula

So many lakes, so many not warm enough to entice the adult population into the water.

But I do remember being a kid and nothing would stop me from getting in the water not even the freeze....Talula dared to get into many of the lakes we visited including this, the largest west of the Mississippi.

she can't help herself.

too cold

look at my ripples

Post Lake feet, very, very cold.

Lake Five

For a week I woke and stumbled firstly into the mild Montana morning and later into the week into the below freezing Montana morning.

Tree studies in Montana

I play alot with the space between trees in my collages. I love the light passing through trees and the colours and space or lack of space.

Scenes of infrared around the hood

Tim my favorite collaborator (who I also have the pleasure of being married to) built an infrared camera. It had some issues that made it's use initially more complex then I was able to conceive and waited for it's use to be dumbed down a bit.

This is an evening walk in the heat of the Seattle summer, which was received in abundance this year, hopefully enough to make it through the less so winter.
