fireside in the west coast

for the second year in a row my work has taken a side dive into focus on the fires, not limited to the west coast of America as a concern but mostly everywhere. as the sky went heavy with smoke this week breathing in pandemic and fire times seems like a double whammy.

Paintings ive got paintings …

Playing with these linear multilayered pieces. Each color is on a different layer. Both pieces 12”x24” looking down in a street scene these are the layers on the surface and below the wires the pipes the cables. These are very slow moving pieces with each layer needing 24 hours to set prior to adding a new color. Coming soon maps of actual locations, working on creating a visual collection of the places I have lived in this style.

Sharing two pieces from a big box of smaller works which have just been sent out to The Confluence Gallery Shop.
